Personal-confidential information

Personal-confidential information is primarily personal data according to data protection law.

Examples:

Personnel files, payroll data, personal data of customers (e.g. address, date of birth, requested service).

Rules of conduct:

  • Under certain conditions, data may be transferred on the basis of a legal permit, a contract or the consent of the data subject.
  • Check the requirements carefully! Once transmitted, electronic data cannot be retrieved!
  • Personal-confidential information must be kept inaccessible to others.
  • The freedom of information laws that apply to the authorities concerned explicitly protect personal data, even if there is a basic right to information.
