What are e-mails?

E-mails are electronic messages that are sent and received within a Authority or institution, but also worldwide via the Internet with the computer, smartphone, laptop, etc.. Even though in the private sector electronic messages are now sent more frequently via messenger programs such as Signal, WhatsApp or Telegram via smartphone, e-mails continue to have great practical importance in the workplace.

An e-mail generally consists of one or more recipient addresses, a subject, a sender address, the body of the e-mail and any attachments.
